| good tough case | |||||

| This case seems thick and tough, though this adds some bulk. The holster is convenient to use, and may or may NOT be as tough as the case, as it is very light. The screen is protected by a clear plastic window which flips up. Some users may not care for this feature (especially after the plastic gets scratched up), but it is removable. The screen faces out in the holster, allowing "caller ID" in telephone use. The SD card cannot be changed without taking the Treo completely out of the case. This is a disadvantage, but the skins WITH cutouts for the card are quite compromised in terms of fit. And at least the card is protected! The skin fits quite snugly and is very secure while allowing access to nearly every feature of the Treo. (The keyboard is not protected but is very accessible.) The fit is MUCH better than the "thin" skin elsewhere in the Treonaut store. | |||||

| The Case is Great, for the price buy new case every year. for that fact that the ir and sd card is covered, take a holepunch or jackknife and cut a little hole. I used a hole punch to cut 2 circles side by side. my ir port workds great for 30 seconds of work. AS the sd card goes i did not cut out for safety because i do not change it often, but if i did, i would cut out a 3 sided box, to make a flap. so both the sd card could come out and the card would be somewaht protected. I just wish they had as durable case for treo as they do for the blackberry 7520. I refer to the holster one that police use with 4 snaps. I love the rubber glove idea. but i still need a durable hostler for when i am on a ladder or under a desk. I use my blackberry hoslter case (modified) with the speck rubber case. what good is a great rubber phone protector if you lose phone when you bump the hostler in a ceiling running cat 5 cable. | |
| Love the Speck ToughSkin | |||||

| I love the Speck ToughSkin for my Treo 700p. I am really hard on my things and my Treo has been dropped many times. The ToughSkin is the most protective cover while still allowing the most accessability. While it does increase the overall size of the Treo and make it look quite "military", it is worth it. The rubber skin give good feel and grip. The keyboard is completely accessible. The plastic flipcover fully protects the screen. I had a habit of accidentally touching the screen and answering or hanging up the call before I had it out and ready to use. The plastic screen cover solves that problem. The thin lower edge of the catch to hold the screen protector closed is delicate and has a tendency to crack. Regardless, it's a small price to pay. Some reviews complain about the card slot being covered. I don't find it necessary to remove my card often so that is not an issue. It is easy to remove the skin to get to it. Besides, on dropping, the card would frequently fly out and skitter across the floor before I had the ToughSkin. Now, problem solved! The holster is another issue. The clip doesn't hold to much of anything. I have dropped it a number of times because the clip didn't hold. I rarely clip it now to avoid this. If you're listening, Speck, fix the clip! I'd buy another just for that. | |||||

| I've had this case for almost 3 weeks now and I love it. It works well for protection if you drop the Treo or it gets away from you. It also makes the Treo alot more comfortable in your hand when working with it. The fact that the SD card slot is covered is a good thing- mine pops out alot without the case from being pushed in and if I lose a 4GB card that wouldnt be a good thing. I wish the IR port wasn't covered, but you can't have "everything" LOL My advice is to get a big enough SD card so you won't have to worry about changing them and to use the Hot-sync cable vs. a card reader for putting stuff on your card- problem solved. My only gripe, really, is that the window provided for screen protection isn't secured as well as it could be and pops open from time to time and I've lost it a couple times so far...and the last thing I have to say is that the case and the holster still fit and work together after adding the 3200 extended battery that sticks out an addittional 3mm with the new cover it comes with. | |||||

| this case started off working well once the plastic cover was removed but soon the neo-p became loose making it fit poorly. the holster system is very dubious... the phone easily fall out of plastic holster system. rubber tears esily around cut outs. | |||||
