| I like the fact that this product is a great protector for your Treo. I have a Speck ToughSkin for my iPod Video and I wouldn't have anything else covering it. I am confident that even if I dropped my iPod on a hard surface the unit would survive. Not sure about the Treo, but it would probably also not get very damaged is a fall from say your the height of your hips. The problems however are big ones. There is no access to the SD card slot at the top of the skin. I have no idea why they forgot to include this feature. Also, the thickness of the cover is a bit too much for a cell phone, Cellular phones get hot and the Treo get's very hot after being on the phone for a while. This skin acts as an insulator for the unit, trapping the heat in. If you plan to reduce the life of your unit, this is a good method! If the covering was better ventilated, it would be a smarter product. | |||||

| This started out as the perfect case. All of Speck's material are the same even if the outside looks different from model to model. I'll start off with the pros. It's light, thin, and has a good grip. The screen protection is perfect, allowing you to use the touch screen and close it to protect it. Makes you look like Captain Kirk when you're using it flipped out. ;) What was disturbing over time was the fit of the case. Either moisture from my hands and pockets are getting into the tiny pockets in the material or my treo has shrunk! I think the rubber gave out its' form over time. I bought my brother one and his is having the same problem. What I'm left with now after 6 months of use is a case that is 3/4 a centimeter loose on all sides. Leaving the cutout not fitting and the plastic screen riding up to scrap the chrome surface of the phone. | |
