| The new SkinTight is even better than the previous model with fully covered side buttons and improved response on the navigation buttons. It feels as robust as Speck’s bestselling ToughSkin and much nicer than standard skins. The removable protective flip-screen (above) now also closes much more tightly. Read more... | ||

| I like this case | |

| Ill be brief I like this case because it provides improved grip and protection to the sometimes slippery plastic shell. The rubber feel is reassuring. However, the flip-screen protector is too much. This case fits my Treo 700W with extended battery, and although it is admittedly snug, it takes the daily abuse very well. I give the belt holster a C+. If you work in noisy environments, youll want to use your Dremel and cut a hole where the rear phone speaker is located. This helps considerably. | |

| I bought a black SkinTight with Holster for my Treo 700p two months ago. PROs: The skin case is a good fit on the Treo and does on easily. The buttons work well thru the skin. Several buttons have raised bumps to help you index your fingers when you can't look at your phone. CONs: The IR port is covered, so you have to extract the Treo from its skin in order to beam and accept business cards. The SD card slot is covered, so you have to extract the Treo from the skin in order to insert or remove cards. The holster swivels freely on the belt clip, often causing the phone to end up pointing somewhere other than where you want it. The biggest downside is that the holster grips the phone TOO well. Drawing the phone from the holster is so slow, I often miss calls before I can get the phone to my ear. The holster grips the case so aggressively that the covering over the volume buttons has worn off in two months. I'm in the market for a better solution. | |||||

| At first glance this looks pretty good. A tight fitting cover and a swivel holster. It does add bulk to the 700p/w. The holster grabs the skinned 700 well, but perhaps a bit too well. After about 6 months of daily use one of the upper pressure digits broke off. The other shows signs of stress. The tight fit might have you fumbling to get the unit out of the holster and that often results in an accidental ejection of the SD card. The plastic screen cover was more of a nuisance than a useful feature. The 700p is a touch screen, you don't want something in the way of getting to the screen. The cover fitted nice and tight at first. In time it will loosen up and provide less than accurate key press feedback. The section of the case that covers the navigation and selection buttons starts to float over the keys. It can cause you to hang up on a call. If you press anywhere on the top of the skinned 700 the SD card will want to eject. To remove the SD card you pretty much have to remove or shift the skin. The skin also completely obscures the Ir feature of the 700. The cover material is a lint magnet. So the device's appearance isn't enhanced by the cover over time. If the holster were a better engineered material, the skin was not prone to stretch/distort and the SD and Ir port access were accomodated, this would be a hands down winner. Right now, it falls short. | |||||

| I saw one of these at Staples and decided to pick it up. Initially I was very impressed, but over time I've become less and less impressed. The other night the flip screen fell off and the part that clips to the case broke as it was a very thin piece of pastic. I could have put the flip cover back on eaislly as that part was not broken, but I would never have the ability to prevent it from flopping around. The phone fits very well in the holster, maybe too well as I'm constantly removing the SD card. Getting the card to reseat is not easy within the confines of the case. Your mileage may vary, but I tend to treat all of my cell phones roughly. I feel that if a product can stand up to my use it can handle most people's abuse. This one has done pretty decent. Make the clip for the flip cover more durable and this would be an excellent product. | |||||
