Now you can access enterprise and public Wi-Fi networks from your Treo 700w using the smallest and lightest form factor Wi-Fi card available. Socket’s Go Wi-Fi! E300 lets you wirelessly connect to Wi-Fi networks to access the Internet, email, and corporate servers.

Included with the card is Socket’s software for configuring network settings and monitoring connection status. Socket Wi-Fi Companion is an intuitive and graphical utility that is easy to use and understand. Plus, in-depth network monitoring statistics are provided for the power user.

Socket designed Go Wi-Fi! to be Battery Friendly. When connected to a WLAN, the card is typically in idle (listening) mode about 90% of the time, with occasional short bursts of data being transmitted and received.

The card works with a variety of WLAN security protocols. The card supports open, 40/64-bit and 128-bit WEP encryption, as well as industry-standard WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), WPA-PSK (WPA-Pre-shared Key), WPA2 Enterprise and 802.1x authentication with EAP-TLS or PEAP.
