StarStarStarStarStar Nice pouch, but does it where well

I bought this pouch in April 2007 and here in early September 2007, Im going to have to replace it. Its a nice pouch, it really is, but it hasnt held up. Now, living in my pocket with keys, change, whatever is admittedly not that great an environment for anything. But . . . there are design and construction elements that could be better. First, the top lip is some kind of rubbery fill between the sewn leather halves that tends to separate and pull off. Its possible to glue them back in -- I did several times. But, still, kinda cheesy, though not a huge problem. Whats happened recently is worse -- whatever is inside the pouch that keeps it rigid has cracked about 3/4 inch below the lip on both sides -- leaving the top of the pouch totally floppy and sloppy.

So, figure a life span of about 5 months on this pouch in (very) active use. Still worth it to protect the phone. But, the thing needs an overhaul to be more resilient.

I own a T680 and had gone without a pouch for sometime. I decided to purchase the "Ultraslim PocketPouch" in black a couple of weeks ago. After I received it, I saw that the "UltraSlim Executive PocketPouch" was available and was billed as a better fit for the 680 so I ordered it, also in black. Bottom line, unless I was sent the wrong pouch, there is no discernible difference in the two, other than the price. They both fit the 680 the same way and from a side by side comparison thye are the same size. If you want to purchase a pocket pouch, and were considering the "UltraSlim Executive" save yourself a couple of dollars and purchase the "Ultraslim."

Same thing here. I have the original (which I hardly use), and ordered the new version thinking it would a snugger fit. NOPE> same darn thing. Thats too bad. Oh well.

I can't say how disappointed i was when i received my pocket pouch, to find out that there was no improvement on the fit. This pouch is no different from the ultraslim.I am totally disgusted. Sent the pouch back!!!

Why could it not have been truly stitched rather than glued? Overall design is great, materials are OK but actual construction stinks--in what part of China was this made?

Pros: nice colors, nice shape, no annoying belt clip
Cons: leather wears fast, "seams" are ONLY glued
While this is a great looking covering for my Palm 650 - many people have complimented the butterscotch color.
Within 1 week, the first seem (which appears to be sewn) just fell open. I tried super glue, which didnt work. I had to buy some multi purpose glue which looks awful, and just yesterday now the other side seem came open.
VERY DISAPPOINTED with the quality of this product.
