Great Product
User: Ned Christensen, Mar 2, 2007
I have been a Palm user for many years and a Treo user for about 18 months. In that time I have always used the traditional "peel and stick" style screen protectors. I always planned on about a 50% failure rate, as I always seemed to get it on crooked or managed to get a piece of lint under it, despite through cleaning beforehand. This new product is MUCH superior to the peel and stick variety. It is easy to apply, the bubbles come out easily, and it fits perfectly. I have had the first one on my new 680 now for about 3 months and it looks like new. It DOES reduce glare and I think improves the resolution of the screen. I will never go back to peel and stick.
excellent

Pros: easy to install
Cons: none
no messy liquids just cling ang it done
Not Worth the Cost
User: John Toborg, Nov 10, 2006
Pros: easy to get off and then back on
Cons: nearly impossible to remove all lint and dust
I purchased these protectors because the one that came with my Treo 700w began coming off at the edges. These protectors have a different texture to them ... not shiny, but not matte either. Almost "slick" when using the stylus. In my opinion, it almost makes the screen look like a TV screen i.e. like you can see the individual dots. It almost glistens. Not necessarily an improvement. I like the fact that you can remove them, clean them off and then reuse them, however, you better get every little fleck of dust and lint off first or once you get the protector back on, these tiny (seemingly invisible) flecks become mountainous and very apparent and distracting when covered. And for the price $15.95 plus s&h for three (3), I expected something better.
Rip-off!
User: Stanley Bennett, Oct 10, 2007
Pros: thick and slick, fit well
Cons: can't view the screen satisfactorily
If I could give zero stars, I would. The view is horrible and looks like a lot of flashing little lights. I couldn't slant the screen to improve the view. It was the worst screen protector I ever used. Got a refund, but still had to pay shipping, so I am not very happy.
Terrible!!
User: Nicole P, Oct 14, 2007
Pros: Easy to put on and take off
Cons: Makes the screen look awful!
I made the mistake of not reading the reviews for this product until after it was already being shipped to me. As I was reading them, I was thinking to myself "There's no way these screen protectors can make the screen look that bad..." I couldn't have been more wrong.

The price is outrageous for only two screen protectors (reusable or not) and the decrease in image quality is so bad, it is almost immeasurable. The "pixelated" look that most reviews speak of is impossible to ignore, and doesn't make these screen protectors worth the money, even if they are easy to use and washable.

I put one screen protector on my Treo 700p, and threw the whole package away instantly. If image quality means anything to you, do NOT buy this product!
Ugh, wish I'd listened to the reviews
User: Laura S, May 31, 2007
Pros: re-usable...if you wanted to (but you won't)
Cons: Blurs the screen
I'm kicking myself for not listening to the reviews. Let me put this in some context. I had a screen protector on my 650 for over a year and thought it was great. I'm not terribly picky. I don't need *perfect* - just GOOD.

These, unfortunately, are not. I have the 755 and the viewing screen is not quite as large as the actual framed part of the screen so the first time I applied the cover, there was about a 2 mm gap at the top of my device.

The worst part about these protectors is what the screen looked like. The 755 has a fantastic, crisp screen. I didn't expect that to fully survive a screen protector. With the protector, the screen looked pixelated and blurry. Not just slightly - but it was so bothersome that if I had to choose between these and never having another screen protector...I'd go with nothing. I hate saying that because I really, really want a screen protector but I really feel I should warn people away from these. The screen looks just terrible with them.
Yuck

Ive had a Palm since the original Pilot 1000, so Ive been using screen protectors for a while. I HATED the pixelation/tiny multicolord dots this screen protector created. I guess thats a side effect of being "anti-reflective". It was certainly easy to peel off, thank goodness. I put a Palm one back on both my wifes and my Treo.
RIP OFF
User: Dean Ayala, Jan 5, 2007
Pros: Protects screen
Cons: Cant see the crisp screen anymore
Dont waste your money. Doesn't enhance squat. Causes you to see all the little colored dots and just doesn't look right. Just like the last review, its like looking at an old old colored tv( I think they look better). Anyways there has got to be a better one out there. the one that came with my 700p was a million times better.
Frustrating, expensive, and useless.

These screen protectors are a nightmare to install and an expensive waste. They attract dust and lint, which forms bubbles on your screen. Fingerprints are difficult to remove from the front and DON’T EVER touch the back! Sure, they’re washable—but how to you dry them? Air only, because you can’t let them touch anything. (Even washing with soap and warm water would not remove fingerprints from the back.) The slightest piece of dust or lint causes a large bubble--which can’t be worked out. I ruined the first two before getting a decent installation. (I washed one, but I don’t have much hope.) So, I’ve paid $16 for ONE protector. This product is a fraud! Read the reviews and buy something else!
