I just received my skin a few days ago, and so far I am really loving it. I ordered the future blue, and the pictures on the website are very true to form. The color looks great, and the skin almost feels velvety to the touch.
I was a little bit surprised by how loose the skin fit when I first put it on. I expected a "skintight" fit, and to have to struggle to stretch it onto the phone. Instead, it went on very easily. I can see how some people would be disheartened by the looser fit, but I prefer it as a tighter fit would make it very difficult to take the battery out if I needed to.
It is difficult to see in the pictures, but the skin is raised in all of the areas where it covers buttons (all of the buttons above the keyboard and the buttons on the sides). This makes it easy to find the button you need without having to look. The only big problem I'm having with it is that I have two labs who are constantly shedding, and dog hair clings to the material. Trying to wipe off the hair doesn't really work, instead you have to blow on it to clean it off. This is an easy thing to avoid though, just keep your phone away from hairy spaces!
I have purchased 3rd party cell phone skins before, and they never seemed to fit properly or have cut-outs in the right places. The cutouts on this skin are perfect!! The holster works wonderfully as well, and the hinged top piece eases my worries about breaking it off from too much tension.
Overall, I am really enjoying this skin case and holster, it is just what I needed to enhance the look of my Treo (especially since it had a few scratches) and to protect it. It feels great too! |
