After having tried several different holsters, as well as a few pouches, I have found my all time favorite. Seido does seem to offer a sturdy product, having also used the first generation of this holster. My complaint against that holster was that, while very resistant to wear, it did scratch up my phone.
I have now had this holster for about 4 months now and it has withstood my considerable abuse quite well during that time. It is easy enough to get it in and out one handed, though admittedly this did require some amount of muscle memory training.
I would highly recommend this holster to anyone who is looking for a low profile, durable, carrier for your phone.

I like the way this holster is built and it holds the Treo very nicely in place. Getting it in and out with one hand is pretty easy and I don't worry at all about it falling out. I've never really worried that my SD card would come out, but it's nice that the latch covers it and makes sure it isn't going anywhere. Also, I have the ShieldZone "skin" on my Treo and it fits nicely.
On the downside, the latch that covers the SD card also "rakes" across it when inserting/removing my Treo. In addition, it catches the speaker on/off switch, so I am a little worried that it might cause some damage to the switch down the road. Also, although I like that the the swivel clip is low profile, the latch that locks it in place gives it somewhat too much play and it will spin too easily.
Overall though, it's a good holster and I would buy it again. |
