Durability is suspect

Pros: Compact & Great for Travel
Cons: Durability leaves something to be desired
It has been less than a year with this charging cable. First, let me say that I have loved its compact size, retractable feature, and using my laptop USB for charging as opposed to occupying another outlet.

But the love was short lived. After less than a year of use, the wires at the USB end have become frayed and now the insulation has started to separate from the wires. So, it is a matter of time before it no longer works or one of the wires break. In all of my years with a cellphone, this is the first charging device where I have seen a failure like that.

Bottomline - If you want an ultra portable charging solution and dont remind replacing it on a regular basis, then this will work for you. If you are looking for a ultra portable charging solution that will last the life of your phone, look elsewhere.
