In my case battery concerns are at their highest when I�m travelling and unable to recharge for extended periods of time. For example, I have the habit of listening to my favourite music for hours on the plane with Pocket Tunes but unfortunately this often means that by the time I land a good portion of my juice will have evaporated just when I need a full charge to drive away with my TomTom GPS�

Finding a Spare Battery Travel Charger

For a while now I have been complaining that I need a �spare battery travel charger� because as much as the battery on my Treo seems to last forever (even more so with my new Seidio 2400mAh Extended Battery) I still typically need to have two batteries fully charged at all times when I�m traveling.

Pros:	extends usage
Cons:	expensive

Allows me to stay up and running longer. My Treo 700P used to die before the end of my 12 hour work day. Now I am able to stay operational all night. Heavy daily usage for phone, web, mobi tv and express 411.

With the stock 1800mAh battery, I could go a day and a half under my normal use. A problem if I forget to recharge every night. With the new battery (2400mAh) I make it through the second day with 25% left over for heavy nighttime use if I wanted. I am very pleased.

Verizon is about the only place you can get the authentic RIM product and matching door. Most other sites are out of stock and even when they are in stock they have the black battery door which looks like crap.

Pros:	fits in the same profile as the stock battery
Cons:	same if not less performance

I think this battery is a waste of money. I see NO noticible gain over the stock batteries at all. Still cant get through a full day of businesss use with my Treo 680. If i get and make a few calls, send several SMS messages, and check emails hourly, this battery cant keep up. About 6-7hrs of time is all i get. Negligble difference over stock.

could be the battery, could be the crappy treo 680. I think my 600 had better life for sure.
