| Great if you wear pants without pockets often | |||||

| Ive owned this case for 8 months now and its still going strong with daily wear. The cut of pants I prefer doesnt have pockets, so this case is perfect for me to carry my phone and work ID around at all times. The belt clip is strong but it doesnt swivel, which may be why its lasted for me so far. It does sit further away from the body than some cases, but so far I have always been able to feel the vibrations of a call, even in loose fit clothing. Id purchase it again if I lost it or something happened to it. | |||||

| I just bought one of these about a week ago, and am quite please that I did so. The belt clip holds the unit snugly to my waist, and I have EASY access to the head phone jack. The magnet that holds it closed is a NICE upgrade over the Velcro used by the previous clip I had used. I also have had no trouble feeling the vibrate of the phone when its in silent mode. My ONLY qualm is that, so far as I can tell, I have to use two hands to remove it from this holster, whereas I could get away with using on before. | |||||
| My favorite | |||||

| I have 3 different carrying cases for my Treo 680, and the side case is by far my favorite. I always have it on a belt so I never fear of it falling off due to activity, and even at times, I have found the closing flap tucked in behind the phone (my faule), the phone still has not fallen out. I do have confidence in the magnetic catch because after 6 months (+), I have yet to have the phone fall out or lose it anywhere! I also love the extra storage area for money, ID or other small items that tuck nicely out of the way when I dont want to carry my fat wallet for quick trips. | |||||

| I previously owned the SPE P6 pouch case but it wore out in less than a year. I just purchased this case. Although well made, takes industrial strength fingers to get the clip to slide over my belt. I cant believe how much pressure there is between the clip and the body of the case. Hopefully this will loosen up soon. This case doesnt fit my Treo 680 as well as the SPE P6. It appears to be designed for a slightly thicker phone. I also would prefer black stitching with the black leather, but not a big deal. Also, the magnetic clasp on this case doesnt hold quite as tight as the SPE P6 case. | |||||
| Too soft -- Treo will make calls without you. | |
| User: Gregory Clark, Sep 18, 2007 | |
| This case is too soft to prevent unintentional activation (dialing, logging on to internet, opening applications -- its all happened). Most vulnerable to this when in the car with this on my hip, or walking. Too bad I really liked the case. Its well made, easy to get phone in and out, and its attractive. Part of the problem is the Treo itself is easily unintentionally activated. Would be nice to have a hard switch to to lock it similar to the mute switch. This case is now going in the bottom drawer. Hoping for better luck with the Palm Hard Shell Treo Case I just bought from Treonauts. | |
