Practically Perfect
User: Paul Okada, May 30, 2007
Pros: Earbuds sound fine, mic picks up well, button is very convenient, y-shape is the best form factor.
Cons: Cord is too long when Treo is at belt level.
I use this headset all the time. The y-shaped cord allows me to drape one side against the back of my neck which then leaves the microphone and button nearby on the left side. The sound of the earbuds is fine and they are comfortable as long as a foam covering is used. The mic picks up my voice just fine. With my Treo 755P, I am able to answer and hang up calls by just pressing the button. PTunes automatically stops when an incoming call comes in and it restarts when I hang up. Since this is a wired unit, there are no issues with recharging batteries or bluetooth interfaces. I am bummed that Headset Control is not compatible with my 755P but am hopeful that this functionality will one day be incorporated into PTunes or updated by Jwhidden.

Button/answer never worked
User: Andrew Beach, May 8, 2007
Pros: No adapter required, fit in ears nicely without falling out
Cons: Never worked as a headset, hard to find button
I was excited to receive these headphones that I could walk/jog using and when I got calls, I could answer and continue walking and the music would be paused to answer the phone. The small (and I mean small) button that you would use to activate the call was hard to find in a hurry (especially if your Treo is in an atheletic case or your pocket, you can't get to it fast enough without dropping the call--or the phone!). The few times I did find the button, I could hear the caller at the other end just fine, but when I spoke they could never hear me...I even tried leaving myself a voicemail from a quiet room and the mic right next to my mouth and nothing registered except "are you still there?" My $9 philips headphones with an adapter do this already. I encourage you to look for an alternate headphone..one that I haven't had time to find yet.
bad design
User: scott barrett, Mar 13, 2008
Pros: -
Cons: earbuds too large, wire configuration bad
i think that the earbuds are too large. they tend to fall out of your ear. also, the wires from the volume/answer button is going the wrong way. it tends to get caught up and pull out of your ear. the long wire, coming from the volume, should be coming out the opposite way. this would make it much easier. or maybe put the mic lower and have even length wires going to each ear.
the ear piece is way too large
User: fff toppoker, May 21, 2008
Pros: ear piece and mouth piece clarity
Cons: ear piece way way way too big
the quality of the ear piece and mic is reasonable, however, the ear piece is way too big, as a result it keeps falling off especially if you do anything that involves any movement with the head.
