Pros:	Works consistently, no jiggling required
Cons:	Extra $5 over SPE model

Unlike the SPE adapter, which looks exactly the same, you will notice that Palms adapter has 4 contacts on the plug to accomodate microphone signals. This adapter also works correctly and does not cause software lags. I went through 3 SPE adapters and only one worked some of the time. All required jiggling to get them to work correctly and once in awhile they would cause the palm o/s to freeze momentarily. The palm adapter just works. Well worth the extra $5 IMHO.
