Finally stays on my ear!
User: Ron LaPedis, Jun 19, 2008
Pros: Finally stays on my ear!
Cons: No headset volume control
Unlike the original Jawbone which would not stay on my ear even with a $65 custom earmold, this one does. I have two concerns:
- Sound is still sometimes muddy, like the first one.
- There is no volume control on the headset. I like my phone to ring loud and when the headset is in my ear, it is at eardrum-shattering levels.
Other than that, this new version ROCKS!!
Best Performance, Mediocre Design
User: Ian Carandang, Jul 6, 2008
Pros: noise cancelling, multiple ear buds and hooks
Cons: pocketability, charger
I previously owned the Jabra JX10 which I loved due to its pocketability, design, and charging stand. However after only 18 mos it suddenly died on me. After purchasing the new jawbone I realized what I was missing in terms of sound quality. The noise cancelling on the new jawbone is definitely best in class. The new design is much more attractive to me as it far less noticeable. The only complaint I have is storing the set in my pocket or laptop bag because it tends to turn on and off on its own. Other than that I would highly recommend the new jawbone.
Let down
User: Jerry Wyatt, Jul 16, 2008
Pros: Looks good
Cons: Did not fit and never worked right
I was excited to receive the new Jaw Bone headset. I have been using the Motorola 850 with ym Treo 650. It worked OK but not consistant and it did nto have the range that I wanted.
When I got the Jaw Bone it synced up just fine. I could not get it to fit in my ear no matter what combination I tried. When I was on a call when I tried to push it in my ear farther the covered button disconected the call. I even had my fingers on the sides of the head set. It had a hard time connecting to my phone. When I received a call I could not answer it. I had to answer from the phone then keep pushing the button until it picked up the call, sometimes.
It might work for some but for me I had to send it back and continue to use my old head set.
