Is this what Bluetooth is all about?
User: Derek Saniga, Jul 31, 2007
Pros: style
Cons: performance
I have a treo 650 and love the phone, i couldnt wait to get a bluetooth so driving and talking would be less stressful. The first headset I tried was an Ericson which was terrible (did not want to connect with the phone, sound quality was poor) so I exchanged it for the more expensive H700. The quality of sound and the connection capabilities were sooo bad, my office refused to speak with me when I used it. This lead me to wonder what all the fuss was about regarding bluetooth? Bluetooth seemed like an unproven technology. I am still looking for a quality headset so if you know of one, please drop me a line...Jabra and Aliph come recommended but I still think BT technology is flawed.
Poor quality battery
User: Syed Raza, Dec 13, 2006
Pros: Light weight
Cons: Battery life (for my headset) only few minutes)
It worked okay for about a week or so. Does have static in sound. After a week or so battery was going dead even after chargin overnight. Now looking to buy a new one.
Not campatible for women's ears

With no way to adjust the fit behind the ear, this headset flopped around on my face. I took it back within a week's use.
Doesn't work with 700p!!!
User: Josh mullineaux, Jan 8, 2007
Pros: Noise Canceling
Cons: Disconnects after short time and wont reconnect
This is a great headset just not for the 700. I have purchased this headset recently and it just automatically disconnects and stops being able to reconnect. I have spoken with tens of other users with the same exact problem. I would strongly reccomend not purchasing this device!!!!

Did not work better than the HS850
User: Jerry Wyatt, Mar 6, 2007
Pros: Small
Cons: Where to start
When I first recieved it I charged it started to use it. It took a long time to answer my 650. Then it disconnected. When I got it to work everyone that I talked to complained about the static and noise. I was holding my 650 @ 1 foot from the headset. I got excited that it would recall the last number dialed, but it was short lived. I am gettign a replacement in case it was a bad 700. I hope that is the case. My HS 850 doss not seem to like the treo very well. It worked great on the Razor.
Useless
User: David Titivanich, Jun 8, 2007
Pros: Looks good. Comfortable. Light
Cons: Unusable
I wanted to get a headset to use with my Treo 680 and settled on the H700 after "test-driving" a number of Plantronics, Nokia, & Sony Ericsson devices. This one seemed to sound best.
Unfortunately, I've had nothing but bad experiences. These are the issues i've had (in order of severity):
- Poor battery life (15 minutes talk time after a full charge)
- Very difficult to get it talking to the Treo. I have to switch on & off the headset at least 10 times before the headset icon shows up on the Treo
- Very frequent pairing disconnects from phone
- Sometimes, no sound when answering the phone
- People I talk to complain about a periodic clunking sound every 5 seconds
- Motorola's useless support website

I'm planning on getting a Jabra.
Tried three h700s, absolute junk!
User: Paul Akel, Jul 22, 2007
Pros: folding boom mic
Cons: call quality, cheap build quality
nothing but static on every call! i exchanged the h700 three times and every one had nothing but static. it also feels rickety when you put it on you can hear it creaking, and it feels loose. I had these same exact problems with the h850. ive heard a lot of stories that the h700 stops working afte about 6 months. piece of junk! get the nokia bh801, much better headset!!
Wish Id never bought it
User: M Henderson, May 8, 2008
Pros: Light weight, pairs easily
Cons: Terrible sound, no range
I bought this from Sprint when I purchased my Treo 700P a little over a year ago. Even with software upgrades to the Treo that are supposed to improve Bluetooth capability, this headset remains problematic. It wont work at all more than 3 feet from the Treo. Even when its closer, the sound quality is terrible. I can barely hear the other party even in quiet environments, and the other party often cant hear me at all. Ive completely given up on using it.
