StarStarStarStarStar Excellent Headset
User: James Saint, May 23, 2007
Pros: Very good sound quality
Cons: None so far
To be honest, this is my first headset. However, based upon the reviews here and at sprintusers.com, this seemed to be one of the best at any price and certainly the best for the money. Although I don't have anything to compare it to, I assume those statements are true. I hear very well (especially after I figured out that there is a volume adjustment on the headset. lol), but even more - the people I am talking to can hear me very well. almost better than without a headset and noticeably better than speaker phone. (I have the 755p and the speakerphone works very well). Would highly recommend.

StarStarStarStarStar Not Bad... But Not Good Either
User: John Carle, Apr 9, 2007
Pros: Clear Signal, Love the Battery, Comfortable
Cons: Goofy "Power Off" Feature
I use a Treo 700wx.

I've been using the H700 for more than a year. Last month, my wife ran it through the washing machine. I don't recommend doing this, in case you wondered.

I figured that in the last year, many new headsets have come out. I should get something more modern. So I've tried all sorts of headsets, including this H300.

The H300 was comfortable, easy to pair, and very straight forward to use. I expected it to be heavy because of the battery; but it wasn't bad at all. It fit well onto my ear as well.

My biggest issue with headsets is volume and clarity. I really need the person on the other end to hear me clearly, and I don't like asking them to repeat themselves. The H300 was fine in this regard. No complaints.

Except one... The stupid thing turns itself off if it's not used for 10 minutes. While this should be a minor inconvenience, I found a programming glitch that made it infuriating! My Treo 700wx wouldn't re-connect to the H300. I had to open the wireless manager, turn off the bluetooth, exit the wireless manager, reopen the wireless manager, and turn back on the bluetooth.

Not acceptable. Could you imagine doing this everytime 10 minutes passes between phonecalls? Me either.

So my H300 is happily sitting back at Best Buy, waiting for a Razer owner to buy it. Because it sure isn't a good headset for my Treo 700wx.

I'm back to my H700. It's still the best of the best of the best.
