The Monaco Aluminum Hard Case is beautifully designed and finished to meet the exact specifications of your Centro handheld.

It is made of aircraft grade aluminum with a tough anodized finish and completely lined with soft, protective neoprene. Your Centro sits safely inside the lightweight and rigid protective outer cover, held by the secure hinged attachment system on the side of the case.

Cut-outs give you easy access to all your handheld's ports and controls. There's also a crystal clear hard cover over the screen to protect from scratches, nicks and fingerprints. A 360 degree removable belt clip is also included.

I had this case for about two months. I was surprised to notice at one point that it had bent badly, and I had to bend it back into shape. Its quite soft. The two biggest problems, though, are the belt clip, and the fact that its made of metal. Putting the Centro in the case sometimes results in the phone being unable to obtain a signal. Removed from the case, it immediately recovers. At a rough guess you lose two bars of signal strength when inside the case. Perhaps this design was fine for the Treo, with its external antenna, but it doesnt work well on the Centro which now finds itself trying to work with its antenna inside a metal box. The belt clip has a round screw-on attachment for the case itself. While on the one hand this means you can remove it and have a much more streamlined case, the attachment comes loose on its own quite frequently. Finally yesterday it fell off while I was riding my bicycle. The phone, still in the metal case, fell to the pavement where the case saved the phone, but was itself mangled. The phone bounced intact out of the case and into the grass, but the case was bent and distorted irretrievably. Im buying a new case, and it wont be this one.
