Great product, but not so great build quality

I have 2 Treo 650s and insert/remove them probably 20-30 times a day as I swap them and leave my desk.

After a lot of insertions, the small metal tabs on the power connector stop sliding smoothly into the recess in the phone and get pushed down bit by bit from friction. Further insertions cause them to bulge out more and more as they get pushed down further and further and then finally the plastic that supports them cracks.
