StarStarStarStarStar Very Pleased!
User: Howard Meyerson, Mar 25, 2007
Spent a great deal of time looking for a headset that was compatable with my Treo 700w. Had poor luck with one of the new LG offerings but it was very ramdom when it would work. The BT500 has been almost flawless. I've had to do a soft reset once but other than that it's been perfect.

StarStarStarStarStar Logictech ear piece broke, this is a replacement
User: D.C. Price, May 13, 2007
Pros: sleek styling, not painful to the ear
Cons: seems very fragile
I have used the Logitech Bluetooth for almost one year. It's surprising because it was somewhat painful and the sound quality varied. I broke the earpiece recently and needed a new Bluetooth. Verizon carried and recommended this. I was immediately captured by the sleekness and attractiveness in the appearance. The sound quality seems to be fine. I am a little cautious about the fragile feel of it but will definitely not "baby" it because if it will break, I want to know sooner rather than later. The next upgrade for this line is the BT500v which costs almost $50.00 more at Verizon but only offers 4 hours more talk time, 8 hours upgraded to 12 hours. For the money, I choose this one because I cannot see myself talking for 8 or 12 hours. I was disappointed that this model did not come in the black/silver finish. The BT500V add the added attractiveness of the black/silver finish. Overall, I am pleased this early in my transaction and will update you if things change.

StarStarStarStarStar Better Headset
User: Chris Caldwell, Jan 13, 2008
Pros: In ear Design
Cons: none yet
This is my 4th headset I have tried and it is by far the best. I have a TREO 755p and I have been trying to find a decent headset for months. The in ear design allows me to hear very well in the car when the noise level is high. Also the behind your ear design stays in place and feels very comfortable. I really like this headset.

StarStarStarStarStar "I can't hear you very well"
User: Roger Catlin, Feb 21, 2007
Pros: -
Cons: Speaking voice quality poor.
I had my BT500 for only a couple of weeks before it was clear that everyone I talked to on it hated it. "I can't hear you very well", I can't understand what your saying" from all my business associates as well as my friends.

I gave the BT500 a try because my Plantronics 510, which incidently is a fabulous product, is not supported by the 700w, a fact I have confirmed with Palm.

The BT500 may work well with other devices, but I give it a thumbs down when paired with the Treo 700w.
