| Magnetic Latch Case the Best | |||||

| I have used several different carrying devices for my Treo 650 and now my 700p. I found that the open faced plastic/rubber made models with the "secure" snap over the top were not secure at all (I nearly lost my 650 in the Truckee River while fly fishing due to the unsnapping ability of those kind of holsters). I have also used the velcro cases and the velcro wears out from constant opening and closing. I seriously recommend the magnetic Latch Case with easy accessibility from either the front or the top, with continuous secure closure, and last but not least, plenty of room for extra SD chips, cards, or whatever. I purchased the one I trust from Radio Shack for around $24.00 This particular VP7 model is limited in that you have to always pop out your phone to make entries or use the device. The Radio Shack model latches from the side and the top so one does not have to take the phone out in order to check calendars, get names, or surf the net. The VP7, however, is much more secure than the plastic Shield Holster variety... those are awful, the phone tends to get kicked out by bending over or getting hooked onto other clothing, etc. They are a waste of money. | |||||
