nice upgrade from Nav 5
User: Lance Johnson, Jan 5, 2007
Pros: small form factor, good battery life, nice integration with Palm software
Cons: small font size, some user unfriendliness
Have used and much appreciated Nav 5 system with my Treo 650 for last year or so. I purchased the software upgrade to Nav 6 mainly to have the navigator utilize my already in-place contact info. It's a very worthwhile enhancement.
Other improvements are less felt....like the improved maps and POIs locations.
There seems to be more information displayed on the navigation maps for those who can see it. Unfortunately, the text is so small that I need to use glasses to read it....which means, at speed, I usually don't. My impression is the previous Navigator showed less info but at a larger font size which, at my age, was more useful.
Absent that quibble, I very much recommend the TomTom Nav 6 system.
