Overall, I have been extremely impressed by the audio performance of this MotorTrend Max 4x Bluetooth Headset � particularly its stunning and superior noise cancellation which is a match for the very best competitors as well as its talk time and loud volume. It is unfortunate that while the manufacturer has clearly focused and delivered on the performance aspect that the design and build quality are not quite at the same level but if you�re willing to overlook that you�ll find that this Bluetooth headset strongly delivers on pretty much every other area.

Poor Quality of the hardware

I received my Max 4x Bluetooth headset yesterday. Immediately upon opening plastic container, I noticed the earpiece cushion was lying loose in the container. I could not get it to reattach to the headset although I tried for quite a while. I did place the headset over my head with the cushion wedged between the earpiece and my ear just to see how it fit, and was surprised at my inability to get the headset to fit properly over my ear no matter how I adjusted it. My next concern was that the microphone boom was not curved enough and the "business end" of it was several inches from my mouth-probably easily far enough to affect the performance of the mike. Needless to say, I didnt even go through the hassle of "pairing" the headset to my Treo because I knew I wasnt keeping the headset (its already on its way back to the shop) so I cant comment on the sound of speaking/listening using this headset.
