A simple, reliable case

Pros:	Durable. Magnetic cover works well.
Cons:	Are there any good belt clips out there?

I like the synthetic material on this. I also like leather, but leather shows wear and tear, and costs more.

The belt clip: (1) I assume that it is designed to "breakaway" under stress. Mine has done that several times. It can be put back together without too much effort. I wonder if those who thought that their clip had broken, made any effort to put it back together? (2) After awhile, it seems to wear, so that the phone tends to sit vertically rather than horizontally. That is not a big issue for me, but a minor inconvenience.

I lost my case (popped off of the clip!), but fortunately have my phone. I will likely purchase another of these.

Bad Attention to Detail on Finish of Pouch

I purchased this case based primarily on Andrew's review. When it arrived (promptly as always from Treonaut.com!) I was pretty happy with it and set to using it immediately. The belt clip was not a plastic clip. It was more like a piece of metal formed THROUGH the rear of the case and covered in the same material as the case. It worked well and I had no problem with it.

I carry my Treo 750 with the screen facing inward as I felt that would be safer and it probably helps hear the ringing when I am not using my H700 headset. The interior of the case is covered in material that I would describe almost as a 'velvet' feel. Very smooth and safe for the frame/screen.

UNFORTUNATELY, (on my case at least) where the clip passes through to the inside of the case, there is sewn a square of this same velvet material to cover the metal of the clip. While this would be OK, on my unit, the metal clip protrudes about 1/4 inch BELOW the lower edge of the covering. If you can imagine, this is just about EVEN with the inner lip of the screen once it is inserted into the case. So, as bad luck would have it, as I was removing the phone from the case to answer a call, this protruding piece of metal snagged the inner lip of the screen and ended up snapping off a piece of the covering on the phone. Although it appears to be mainly a cosmetic issue, I have been completely unsuccessful in getting anything from Palm or Cingular other than, "send it in with $225 and we will send you a refurbished phone". This is really frustrating since this piece of plastic probably costs all of $.05 and it looks like it should snap on/off with no problem.

So, all this happened JUST past my 30 day warranty period with Treonauts or I would have definitely asked for my money back! I like the case, but it looks like Body Glove's poor attention to detail is going to cost me $225! Next time maybe I'll get the SPE P6 case! At least I know what to look for now.

Treo 680 ... I really liked the case. Tight fit. No complaints about linings. Nice magnet closure. The case snapped off the clip within 2 weeks. I searched for the phone for a day, retracing my steps, until I found it. I can reattach it but since one of the "wings" (don't know what to call it) snapped off, it always pulls off the belt clip. I cannot trust it so it is in the "nice try" box.

Bought it... it didnt last

Pros:	price, style, magnetic clip
Cons:	belt clip was plastic...snapped off within 1 week of use

I liked the case, was not too impressed with the plastic clip... broke off within a week of average to light use, when I slid along edge of a countertop at work.
