This device broke in half after 4 months while I was driving. I am so disappointed because it cannot be repaired. Dont waste your money.

I had been using this holder for about 4 month - it is a noisy, squeaking device. After approx 4 month of almost daily usage it broke. My dealer told me they stopped distributing these as they are not reliable.

Useless junk

Pros:	Cheap
Cons:	You get what you pay for

The chintziness of the construction is evident right out of the box. Accordingly, I tried to be careful as I attempted installation. Nevertheless, during installation the phone-holder piece broke off in my hand as I was adjusting the position of the gooseneck. Upon further inspection I noted that the two halves of the phone holder piece are held together by small metal screws that go into fragile plastic pieces about 1/4" in diameter; the plastic pieces themselves are all that hold the top half together with the underneath half. All four of the little plastic doo-dads shattered at the same time, even though all I was doing was barely exerting enough force to reposition the gooseneck. A definite Do Not Buy.
