Among others, the pedestal has a much larger suction cup area for better adhesion to your windshield, the clip to lock the suction cup is also much larger and more comfortable to use, the flexible arm is more solid, it has a tightening ring with which you can adjust the angle of the cradle and finally the attachment for the cradle is much easier to to insert and remove. The package also includes a vent mount assembly as well as a console/dash adhesive disc.

I just received my new Arkon CM910 Vehicle Mount Kit and naturally I immediately began comparing it to the other ones that I have. I expected no more than a �mild� improvement but to my pleasant surprise the Arkon (below left) actually proved to be �far� superior. For starters, the overall build quality is excellent and the cradle with expandable arms has some thick neopreone to comfortably cushion your Treo on its side and bottom arms.

Good idea poorly executed

Pros:	It allows great positioning
Cons:	The swivel mechanism loosens up after a while

This would be a great car mount. It comes with different attachements and the clik and swivel mechanism allows for proper positioning and orientation of the phone. The problem is that the tilt and swivel mechanism becomes loose after a while and it starts swinging around when a heavy phone such as a palm 680 is placed in the cradle. After a few months it is unusuable. At every curve the cradle swings around often flinging the phone about the car.
